a non-profit organization, AWIS-SD relies on the generosity of corporate
and private sponsors to help fund scholarships to undergraduate and graduate
women studying science at local Community Colleges and Universities, and
to defray the costs of AWIS-SD activities, such as our professional development

grade school children, and mentoring programs for young women scientists.
